Inland Northwest Lighthouse

The Lighthouse for the Blind Inc. is expanding to Eastern Washington!

The Lighthouse for the Blind Inc. is excited to announce that we are currently preparing to open a satellite location in Spokane, WA. Our facility will increase employment for visually impaired adults in the Inland Northwest and we hope to have our first 5 employees busy at work by the beginning of the summer. Our goal is to have 40 full-time blind employees in three years.

Renovations for our new facility will hopefully be completed by March 2008. The 52,000 square foot building has easy access to major bus lines and other public transportation, and is located near retail shops and affordable housing.

Our Inland Northwest facility will be located at:
6405 N. Addison
Spokane, WA 99208

We are always looking to create new partnerships and relationships with people and organizations that will help us advance our mission of providing employment and services for those who are blind, Deaf-Blind and blind with other disabilities. If you are interested in our hiring process, or have questions about our facility, please contact our Director of Recruiting, Orientation, and Accessibility Don Helsel at 1-800-914-7307 or dhelsel@seattlelh.org
