When you make a donation to the Seattle Lighthouse, you give blind and Deaf-Blind people in your community opportunities that last a lifetime.

Today, 70% of blind people are unemployed and over one-third live in poverty. Your donation will help to end the inequalities facing people with visual disabilities by providing real, life-changing opportunities.

Your donation helps to fund job opportunities, training programs like computer classes and braille instruction, Deaf-Blind programs, and support services such as interpreters and assistive technology. Click here to watch a video that shows how your gift makes a difference.

The Seattle Lighthouse offers many options so that you can make a gift that’s right for you. All gifts made to the Seattle Lighthouse for the Blind Foundation are tax-deductible. For more information, call Jennifer Moore at (206) 436-2253 or email jmoore@seattlelh.org.

Click here to learn more about planned giving options, or call Jennifer Moore at (206) 436-2253 for a free brochure.

Gifts of Stock: A Win-Win Situation.
If you are considering making a substantial gift to help create opportunities for blind people in our community to live independently, you may receive substantial benefits by donating appreciated securities rather than writing a check.

You receive a tax deduction for the market value of your gift, not the amount you originally paid, and no one pays capital gains taxes.  Click here to learn more.
