Job Announcement

Title:  Production Worker
Location: Spokane, Washington
Department:  Manufacturing
Reports to:  Production Manager
Hours:  Full-time-Day Shift

Job Summary:

Performs fabrication and assembly operations to mass-produce products such as easels, communication boards, binders, and file folders.

Responsibilities:

  • Performs basic assembly operations.
  • Performs assembly operations using fixtures and jigs.
  • Operates basic fabrication equipment such as punch presses and press brake.
  • Ability to fabricate parts using both simple and complex indexing methods.
  • Operates single spindle and multi-spindle drilling equipment.
  • Performs simple riveting duties.
  • Performs finishing processes on metal and non-metal work pieces such as deburring, using a machine or hand file.
  • Counts, packages, sorts and cleans parts.
  • Adheres to established production, Safety and Health Policies and Procedures.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 6 months of work experience or training.
  • Ability to occasionally lift up to 40 pounds.
  • Ability to stand up to 8 hours with standard rest-periods.
  • Ability to perform work assignments requiring repetitive motions.
  • Requires accurate counting.
  • Excellent attendance record.
  • Ability to work as a member of a team in a cooperative manner.
