Title: Inventory
Control Clerk

Hours: Full-time-Day Shift
Summary:
Receives stores and distributes material, tools, equipment and
products. Assists inventory team in moving material throughout the warehouse by
performing the following duties.
Responsibilities:
á Operates warehouse
equipment; pallet jack, weight counting scales, stretch wrap machine and Dock
Locks.
á Fills
requisitions, work orders or requests for materials, tools or other stock items
and distributes items to production workers or assembly line. Picks material to
support manufacturing.
á Loads and
unloads trucks.
á Receives
finished goods/components into inventory.
á Conveys
sorts and identifies/marks materials and items from receiving or production
areas to storage or to other designated zones.
á Assists
in the input of inventory transactions into main computer system(s), recording
amounts of materials or items received or distributed.
á Prepares
parcels for mailing.
á Cycle
counts inventory, counts material (raw material and finished goods) in
specified locations, (within individual zones), ensuring all containers are
labeled correctly.
á Compiles
worksheets or tickets from customer specifications. Inspects production
schedule, customer order, work order, shipping order or requisition to
determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed.
á Performs
duties in conformance to company and ISO standards and procedures.
á Maintains
a safe, clean and orderly workplace.
Requirements: (equivalent education/and or experience may
substitute)
á High-school
diploma or GED.
á 1 –
3 years experience in manufacturing warehouse setting.
á Ability
to understand written and verbal instructions. Effective overall communication
skills.
á Accurate
counting, basic math skills including strong ability to use calculator
á Basic
data entry and familiarity with computerized inventory systems.
á Highly
dependable and excellent attendance record.
á Committed
to follow through and on time delivery.
á Ability
to participate fully in problem solving as a team member with attention to details
and deadlines.
á Ability
to maintain courteous and positive relations with customers and other
departments.
á Good
prioritization and organizational skills.
á Able to
occasionally lift up to 70 pounds.
