Job Announcement
TITLE: Injection Mold Set-Up Technician
Department: GSA
Reports To: Production Supervisor
Hours: Full-time M-F, Swing-shift (3:50 PM to 11:50 PM
Summary:
Responsible for accurate set up of equipment and machinery in the injection mold area to ensure the manufacture of quality molded products.
Responsibilities:
- Removes and installs molds as schedule requires.
- Mixes required molding materials.
- Cleans out hoppers and grinders as required.
- Trouble shoots and maintains molding set ups.
- Fills in for operators on breaks and lunch and as otherwise required.
- Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Requirements: (equivalent education and/or experience may substitute)
- High School diploma.
- One (1) year Injection Mold operator experience.
- One (1) to two (2) years experience as an injection molding set-up or technician.
- Able to lift 50 pounds frequently.
- Able to use pneumatic and power tools.
- Classes and/or training on injection molding theory preferred.
