Join the Lighthouse Legacy Society
The Lighthouse Legacy Society honors individuals designating planned gifts to the Seattle Lighthouse for the Blind Foundation. Examples of planned giving arrangements include designating a bequest to the Foundation or arranging a Charitable Gift Annuity in partnership with the Lighthouse.
The only requirement for membership in the Lighthouse Legacy Society is written notification of a planned gift. By joining this society, you will become a part of a dedicated group of individuals who have done something extraordinary they have created enduring opportunities for blind and Deaf-Blind people.
With a gift to our endowment, you will ensure that there will always be opportunities for adults who are blind and Deaf-Blind. The Lighthouse has provided opportunities for independence and self-sufficiency to visually impaired individuals for ninety years; your planned gift will sustain opportunities for the next ninety years and beyond.
Membership benefits include:
- Your name listed as a Lighthouse Legacy Society member in Lighthouse publications and in our annual report.
- Recognition at our annual Lighthouse Legacy Society Holiday breakfast. This year’s breakfast will be held at the Sorrento’s Top of the Town in early December.
- Inside reports to stakeholders from Lighthouse leaders regarding our latest developments.
- Limited edition Lighthouse Legacy Society desk accessories.
Most importantly, your gift will make a difference in the lives of hundreds of blind adults in the years to come. To learn more about joining the Lighthouse Legacy Society, please contact Jennifer Moore at (206) 436-2253 or email jmoore@seattlelh.org.
We extend our deepest thanks to the following generous and forward thinking individuals for making a magnificent investment in ensuring permanent opportunities for people who are blind, Deaf-Blind, and blind with other disabilities.
