Charter Lighthouse Legacy Society Members Honored at Third Annual Lighthouse Legacy Society Breakfast

On December 6, 2007, fifty-seven Lighthouse donors joined us at the top of the Washington Athletic Club to celebrate giving and honor the contribution of Lighthouse Legacy Society members.  Mr. Bob Watt, vice president, Government & Community Relations, The Boeing Company, gave the keynote speech. His speech commemorated the relationship between Seattle Lighthouse and Boeing through the years and paid tribute to the many people who help to further opportunities for people with visual disabilities through philanthropy.

The Lighthouse Legacy Society was created to honor the outstanding dedication of people who have arranged to make a gift in support of Lighthouse programs through their will or estate plan. The only requirement for charter membership in the Lighthouse Legacy Society is that you notify Lighthouse staff in writing of your planned gift by April 8, 2008.

We are grateful for the generosity of our Lighthouse Legacy Society charter members for their exceptional commitment to creating opportunities for people who are blind, Deaf-Blind, and blind with other disabilities.
