Thank You Lighthouse Donors!

We rely on donations from individuals and organizations in our community to provide training programs and support services to people who are blind, Deaf-Blind, and blind with other disabilities. Here are just a few of the programs and services community donations help provide:

• Donations support our Computer Training Program (CTP) for blind adults, where students learn to use assistive technology with office applications to gain upward mobility in the workplace.
• Donations provide MiniGuide electronic travels aids to enable blind and Deaf-Blind individuals to travel safely and independently. The MiniGuide uses ultrasonic echolocation to alert blind people to objects in their path.
• Donations provide materials for Deaf-Blind community classes, where the Deaf-Blind community comes together to learn about a variety of important topics in a totally accessible environment.
