Community Members Support Opportunities for People with Visual Disabilities

Thanks to generous people in our community, the Seattle Lighthouse is able to provide unique training programs and employment opportunities for people who are blind, Deaf-Blind, and blind with other disabilities.

The following 280 corporations, foundations, individuals, and service clubs gave $32,463.35 in support of vital programs and services such as:

  • Our annual Deaf-Blind retreat, providing a completely accessible, positive environment for Deaf-Blind people from throughout North America.
  • Computer training programs serving the needs of both the blind and Deaf-Blind communities
  • Braille and audio services, ensuring equal access to important information for blind and sighted people alike
