Support the Independence of People Who Are Blind and Deaf-Blind with Your Tax-Deductible Donation

You’ve read about how training in technology, communication, mobility, and independent living skills makes a difference in the lives of people with visual impairments.

Now your gift will promote the independence and self-determination of more blind and Deaf-Blind individuals.

Your contribution to the Seattle Lighthouse for the Blind Foundation will create opportunities for self-sufficiency of people who are blind, Deaf-Blind, and blind with other disabilities. Gifts will fund such crucial needs as Braille and audio materials, orientation and mobility skills training, and independent living classes.

$30 supplies paper and audiocassettes for alternate formats
$60 pays for one training session in independent living skills
$120 provides maintenance for screen-reading software

Each dollar will go directly into providing skills training, assistive equipment, and instruction to blind and Deaf-Blind people. The donation you make today will make a permanent change for the better in a blind or Deaf-Blind person’s life.
