Donors Create Opportunities for Independence
Thanks to the generosity and dedication of individuals and organizations in our community, people who are blind and Deaf-Blind have new opportunities to live independently. Private donations are instrumental in providing the employment, training, and support that are the foundation of self-sufficiency.
Contributions from the community were critical in expanding our training programs such as our Orientation and Mobility program and Deaf-Blind Technology Training Center, creating additional jobs in our machine shop and production areas, and providing communication and technology support to over 160 blind employees.
We were fortunate to receive $96,771.54 in support of Lighthouse programs and opportunities from August 6, 2005 to November 15, 2005 from the following corporations, foundations, individuals, and community organizations:

The only requirement for membership in the Lighthouse Legacy Society is written notification that you have made some sort of planned gift to benefit the Lighthouse. Anyone joining on or before April 2nd, 2008 will be listed as a charter member.
